Since I was a kid, i’ve had a passion to create. From coding to music to now clothing, i’ve loved putting things together, seeing how they work and figuring it all out.
I’ve been truly grateful that God has put this passion on my heart and so it only made sense to me that I find a way to glorify Him through it.
Carving a Community
I won’t lie to you… i’m an introvert, but I wasn’t always this way. When I was young i’d go up to everyone and they mama, introducing myself, yelling my name and probably embarrassing my parents in the process. But as you know, growing up, life hits and we get a little self conscious about who we are and what we do.
I’d like to think, though, that part of that outgoing kid is still within me, because even today I still love making the effort to get to know people. I may not be as loud and outgoing as I used to be but building relationships, getting to know people, crossing that invisible awkward barrier, and finally feeling like you can be yourself with someone else is such an unmatched feeling.
That’s why in building Hollowell, I didnt want to just be a clothing brand, I wanted it to be a place that others can experience that same type of connection with other people, to help other people, to love and support and become friends with other people.
I want to build a community that is recognised for these things and I would love even more if you would join me on that mission.
