Proverbs 4:23 - "Above all else, guard your heart for it is the Wellspring of Life."
What we allow our hearts to hold onto will shape how we live our lives. "Above all else..." we must protect it, so that we do not stray from the path the Lord has set out for us. Our heart is a wellspring that we should allow to be filled with what is righteous so that we remain loving, and forgiving, and that our actions may inspire, nurture, strengthen and embolden those around us.
